ELECTRONIC CITY

Based on Falk Richter’s play

Kristjan Rohioja’s choreography MA production is focused on the body and storytelling through it. The story is about two young people, and the mystery that begins unfolding in their lives. It is a longing to oneself, to intimacy and to the space around them.

“On Tuesday in two weeks I’ll be in Amsterdam, in the terminal 4 right by gate 65, I checked that the same night you’ll be coming from Madrid and flying on to Toronto, if you wouldn’t take the flight through Brussels but went via Amsterdam and took a later connection, then I could change my shift so that I can have a break between 11pm and 11.30pm and then we could have a conversation in live again in KLM salon, I’d really just like to lean my head on your shoulder again... to hold you, to kiss you, we could go to the mens’ toilet or in terminal 4 there’s the prayer room, there’s nobody there, we could quickly...”
